Planning
The Gantt chart, tasks and sub tasks, links between work, templates and how plan changes are recorded.
- 1 The Gantt chartRead and use the Plan screen: bars, colours, the today line, zoom, order, moving and resizing tasks, Draw and Link modes, copy and paste, and the right-click menu.
- 2 The task formEvery field of the task form: name, category, per floor or per flat & room, floors, rooms, tracking, links, dates, responsible people, sign-off, planned crew, material estimate and materials.
- 3 Sub tasks and orderGroup tasks under a parent, add sub tasks and ancillary tasks, take tasks out of a group, and drag rows to set the plan order.
- 4 Links and dependenciesLink tasks so a delay pushes the work after it: Link mode, the task form, link types (finish to start, start to start, finish to finish), gaps and overlaps, and the critical path.
- 5 TemplatesReusable sequences of steps — like a column casting or slab cycle — that you add to a plan in one go, already grouped, linked and with materials and rooms filled in.
- 6 Plan changes after the startOnce a project has started, Konkat keeps the original plan, records every date change as a revision with a reason, and shows the original as a dashed bar.
- 7 The task pageEverything about one task on one screen: status, % done, days used, floors and flats, workers today, materials, links, and every update and photo — plus Assign workers.
