Term Meaning in Konkat
BHK Bedroom-hall-kitchen — the configuration of a flat, e.g. 2 BHK or 3 BHK. Set per unit in the units table.

Bag The usual counting unit for cement (50 kg bag).

SFT / SY Square feet and square yards — area units for units. Konkat converts other units to sq ft.
Slab cycle The repeating set of steps to build one floor’s slab: marking, steel, shuttering, concreting, curing and so on. Usually added from a template for each floor.
Stilt (floor 0) The parking floor at ground level. Floor 0 is called “Stilt” (short label S) by default; the name can be changed to Ground or anything else.

Planning terms#

Term Meaning in Konkat
Ancillary task A supporting task such as curing or debris clearing. It appears in Plan for next as a Reminder and doesn’t need sign-off by default.
Gantt / Plan The chart of tasks as bars on a timeline. The dashed bar is the original plan; the dark part of a bar is days worked so far. See Gantt chart.
Group task / sub task A task that contains other tasks. Its dates follow its sub tasks. See Sub tasks and order.
Link (dependency) “This task comes after that one”. A delay on the first pushes everything linked after it. See Links and dependencies.
Original / Revised / Used days Original = planned duration; Revised = changed duration; Used = days worked so far (days with a log). Extra days from delays are added on top.
Overrun A task that has used more days than its planned (or revised) duration. Shown in red.
Per floor / Per flat Whether progress on a task is recorded floor by floor or flat by flat (and room by room).
Plan for next The dashboard list of tasks starting soon whose earlier work is finished. See Dashboard.
Reason for change Once a project has started, moving dates asks for a reason, kept as plan history. See Plan changes.
Template A reusable list of linked steps (e.g. a slab cycle) you add to the plan for chosen floors and dates.

Site record terms#

Term Meaning in Konkat

General site work People on the Workers sheet who are not booked to any task.
Live / Uploaded photo Live = taken with Konkat’s camera; Uploaded = chosen from the gallery. Reports show which.
Delay Days lost with a cause (e.g. late brick supply, rain). Can be added to the task so later work moves. See Delays.
QC concern / rectification A problem found in a quality check, assigned to someone to fix by a date; the fix is the rectification, then QC closes it. See Quality checks.
Sign-off Approval of finished work by an allowed person. Until then the task shows Awaiting sign-off. Rejection sends it back to in progress. See Sign-off.
Site logbook Everything recorded on the project, newest first. See Site logbook.
Correction A change to or deletion of an earlier or someone else’s daily log or workers sheet. Needs permission and a reason; the old version is kept in the corrections record. See Corrections.
